Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Who we are

ORBIT ("ORBIT", "we", "us") is a Web3 education and community platform operated from Nigeria at web3orbit.org (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and have authority to bind any organization you represent. You are responsible for your account credentials and any activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: unlawful use, fraud, spam, infringement of intellectual property, harassment, distribution of malware, probing or scanning our infrastructure, scraping, or interfering with the security or integrity of the Service.

4. Intellectual property

ORBIT and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including the software, content, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Service within your selected plan for your own personal or internal business use. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, share account access, or circumvent technical limits.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, taxes, and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until you cancel. Refund eligibility and how to request a refund are described in our Refund Policy.

6. Service level

We work hard to keep ORBIT available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Educational content — no financial advice

ORBIT publishes educational material about Web3, crypto assets, and related technologies. This content is for general and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Crypto markets are volatile and you may lose money. Any decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ORBIT's aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid to Paddle for the Service in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or crypto asset losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos, Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
